“30A To agree that the constitution, staffing, organisation and curriculum of the Independent schools should be determined by their respective Boards and therefore:
a) To agree to:
(A) repeal the Ladies’ College (Guernsey) Law, 1962 and all associated and relevant legislation, subject to the establishment of a new body corporate and the transfer of all functions, assets and liabilities to that body; and
(B) the preparation of any legislation that may be necessary or expedient to give effect to all or any part of the transfer to be made pursuant to paragraph (A) above.
b) To agree to repeal, with immediate effect, the requirement for Governors of the Board of The Ladies‘ College to be appointed by a Resolution of the States pursuant to section 7(2) of The Ladies’ College (Guernsey) Law, 1962, notwithstanding proposition a) above.”
