To add after Proposition 2 -
3. If Proposition 1 and 2 are not approved, to agree that it is pragmatic and proportionate to develop Alderney Airport as set out in Option B to include thicker pavement construction and minor amendments to taxiway alignments and apron extents to safeguard for future Code C aircraft; and direct the Policy & Resources Committee to update the capital portfolio accordingly and the States’ Trading Supervisory Board to progress the proposals.
4. If proposition 3 is not approved, to affirm that Option A is the baseline approach as resolved in 2019 to refurbish and maintain proportionate infrastructure at Alderney Airport with the minimum works required to support ongoing Code B aircraft operations with some safeguarding for a future extension where there is little or no impact on cost; and direct the States’ Trading Supervisory Board to progress the proposals.
